Orange Unified School District & FFA

Orange High School hosted the Green Business Council of Southern California on September 22, 2015. The council had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful Orange High School teachers: Amelia Strickland, Environmental Science Teacher; and Patti Williams, the Agricultural Program teacher: who both spoke about their respective students sustainability projects.

After hearing from Amelia and Patti, the council and guests proceeded to take a tour around Orange High Schools Agricultural Center where they were introduced to the talented FFA young ladies. The council was showed a brief video, before being taken on a tour of the school campus where the teachers and students showed first hand evidence of the impact that the school's sustainability programs are having. The school's faculty and students were an inspiration to the GBCSC board, who were witnessing the future of sustainability in America.
